That was fun, but I feel all drained now

Still not come down from Maelstrom and there are![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
oroboras and I heading off down to Brum to see Deathboy, Conspiracy and The Crüxshadows.
After suffering from traffic jams, roadworks and the main A38 being closed we found somewhere to park well after 9, a little gutted at being late we headed over to find the place.
After mistakingly asking for directions from GodZilla I spottedrainbowskye(With Daiv and someone who's name has escaped me, apologies) in a takeaway and proceeded to get comprehensible directions, and t be told that Deathboy weren't due on until 9.30 anyway so as it turned out, as we hit the bar (nice venue, bit warm and the drink prices I think can best be described as extortionate!) Deathboy hit the stage, bit happy about this as last October Whitby I'd missed them due to someone spending ages getting ready.
Bumped intotoxicpixie who directed us to kamalaya, so I could return the jumper she'd left at mine when we went shopping Chester last December.
Huggs and hellos exchangedoroboras and I headed closer to the front to see what we could see and spotted sarah_mum bopping away in the crowd.
Post set I got to formally herd and introducesarah_mum and rainbowskye as per request.
Didn't really see too much of Conspiracy as I was far too busy gassing with various folks when I also spottedscarybex and Gary stood just in front of us.
The Crüxshadows arrived and hit the stage as the do (with Rogue wandering around behind everybody and scaring the locals) and the second song in he clambered up onto a girder That I thought he might attempt but really didn't think he'd manage, especially so early on in the set.
Spent a while spotting face I didn't know if I Knew or had just seen them popping on up various peoples journals.
Gig ended with encores Return (Coming Home) and of course Marilyn (My Bitterness), then we headed over to spend every last penny we had on merchandise chatted briefly to Rachel then said our goodbyes and went out to see if the car was still in working order.
It was (kinda) so eventually crawling into my pit at stupid o'clock I finally passed out, today I feel like poo, dehydrated and have the sneaky feeling of head warmth that points to a cold on the horizon.
Still when all's said and done a kick ass weekend followed by a kick ass night out.

I best get a cup of tea and sit and watch Randall and Hopkirk (deceased) for an hour.
