Just seen most of the remake of Rollerball, not bad, but far to many jump cuts to make it more exciting, which kind of got in the way of actually seeing what was going on.
For my money, you just can't beat the original, James Caan rocked in it

It certainly did, and the music was good too, Tocatta and Fugue - Bach, Adagio - Albinoni. Cool blood levels given the age of the movie, what's the new movie called?

Rollerball, just like the original.
Except it aint the original, they've even Changed Jonathan E into Jonathan Cross.
But kept the Jonathan chant, although not as good.
The track is better, but with all the fast editing it's kind of hard to appreciate it and see how it works and flows, as all you get to see for the most is just pieces of action and not really what connects them.

Don't know his name, but I think it's the LeCross playing singing one out of American Pie. Ah yes Chris Klien plays Jonathan Cross.
I'm sure that Jonathan E would be spinning in his grave.
On the up side, Jean Reno is rather good, as Jean Reno is, and the 'love interest' played by Rebecca Romijn-Stamos(Who played Mystique in X-men) provides some nice eye candy.
