The night before Maelstrom and all through this house, people are sleeping, ok not really.
One is watching telly, one is trying to sleep while watching telly, and two of us are going for a nice bath.
The animals are doing as animals do, I suspect.
Stress can wait for tomorrow.

Bored of writing Maelstrom por... erm notes

‘Twas the night before Maelstrom,
And all through the room,
The place was a tip,
And had been since noon.

The people lay knackered
Collapsed in a heap,
Some drunk to a stupor,
Some trying to sleep.

The packing have lasted,
Into the wee hours,
They’d packed all the spirits,
Stacked boxes in towers.

The room now lay dormant,
The Larpers fecked off,
Off into to the pub,
For pre Maelstrom froth.

And then from the chimney,
A fat man appeared,
With large gut and sack
(Now isn’t that weird).

He opened his sack,
And then with a grin,
Picked up the airbeds,
And threw the lot in.

The Costumes were next,
Frockcoats and Frocks,
He stole all the nice kit,
And emergency socks.

He bundled them up,
Then being quite calm.
Disappeared up the chimney,
To avoid the alarm.

So in the morning,
When you awake,
Take heed from this warning,
Learn from our mistake.

One person stay watch,
On pre Maelstrom Night,
Lock up all your costumes,
Keep the chimney alight.

Watch out for the fat man,
He’ll be in your gaff,
And look for the burglar,
The cops call The Raff.
