Virgin have actually been really good with us, but they're now jumping into bed with Phorm & the CEO said net neutrality was balls, so that makes me less inclined to recommend them!
Even if you can only get 6Mb I'd suggest going with Be, everyone in my company gets a free Be Pro connection and we haven't had a problem with them. Reading the forums some people have had problems with them but like many of these things I can go out and find 50 happy Be customers just as easily as I could 50 unhappy customers ;)
I have just replaced my router because the supplied one is IMHO a bit pants but it's a Speedtouch which is the standard router supplied by most ISPs (the BT HomeHub is a re-branded re-boxed Speedtouch).
