Even if you can only get 6Mb I'd suggest going with Be, everyone in my company gets a free Be Pro connection and we haven't had a problem with them. Reading the forums some people have had problems with them but like many of these things I can go out and find 50 happy Be customers just as easily as I could 50 unhappy customers ;)
I have just replaced my router because the supplied one is IMHO a bit pants but it's a Speedtouch which is the standard router supplied by most ISPs (the BT HomeHub is a re-branded re-boxed Speedtouch).
